About Salsa with Worcester’s Stars

Centro las Americas, with the expertise of Salsa Storm Dance Studio, will once again present Salsa with  Worcester’s Stars.  This fun-filled dance competition puts Worcester notables against each other in a variety of dance categories from Cha-Cha to Merengue to Salsa.  Expert instructors from Salsa Storm guide the contestants through weeks of classes leading up to the competition.  Volunteer “Stars” are selected from the non-Latino community and present their dance skills on one night in front of a large audience from the Worcester community and these audience members act as judges for the final awards.  This fun-filled night, our second annual Salsa with the Worcester Stars, will be held on Saturday, June 28th at Hogan Center in the College of the Holy Cross.   Last year's winners, Mike O'Brien and Allen Fletcher will compete again to keep their "crowns." 

Lt. Governor, Tim Murray, will present the awards and Hank Stolz, WCRN Radio, will be our Master of  Ceremony.
